Frontend work for one of the Netherlands' oldest book publishers — a catalog-rich site with a large visual inventory.
The challenge
A publisher's site is essentially a large visual catalog. Hundreds of book covers must render crisply and quickly, and the browsing experience has to feel effortless for readers, parents, and booksellers alike.
The solution
I implemented responsive, image-heavy catalog layouts with careful attention to grid behavior, image sizing, and cross-browser consistency, keeping the visual focus on the books themselves.
